:(
My Husband just called me and let me know that he went to put his work boots on this morning and found a rather unpleasant surprise. It appears that after taking inventory, Noodle had escaped over the weekend and passed away in his boot. This is my first ever escapee. Don't know how this happened, except that I was away this weekend and my daughter did feed them while I was gone. I am so sad at this discovery.
RIP Noodle snake:(

sorry for your loss, it may be hard but its better to laugh about the good times than cry over the bad.
In an effort to bring forth a little smile ill say this ...tell your husband to wash his feet more often or at least buy some or odor eaters!!

Thank you everyone. I am filling in the very small gaps between the screen lid tonight. I checked it again and the only way he could have gotten out is if the rocks were not put back properly on the top of the screen. I feel terrible about our carelessness.

I guessing we all have felt the way you do. I know I've done my share of careless things that cost a little life. The thing is we learn from these incidents and make things better.
Chin up and keep moving forward:)

Oh No! Not Noodles! You mean the up periscope garter that made me laugh? Crap! You took lots of pics right? That's the thing that always gets me when I loose and animal, that I didn't take enough pics. Especially when they were young and cute.
I'm so sorry! My condolences to and your family.
