New wandering

I caught a new wandering last week, big girl, around 30 inches! she looks like she has eaten her share of rodents! taking a pic of her was fun..... curious little bugger!!! Here's some pics, and of Nikki holding her.

Very nice one. Definitely a nice grey colour.

Come to think of it, I think I parted with a male with that exact coloration last year. Own production, it was one of the two babies I considered keeping.

Anyway, around 30" is big? I have a 32" vagrans, but I just called it big, because it was big compared to the other ones I have. It was still only half the weight of James' massive 400 gram monster. :D

for around this valley that is big.... 3 foot ones were a little more common in Idaho where I grew up

That first pic looks like is black and white. Nice snake.

I like this grey. This color tends to silver, witch is a morph that i especially love.

That is one sweet looking gray snake Don. Your daughter is a cute gal too, was she adopted? lol just kidding man:D
Is that common to see wanderings that dull gray? I'm guessing that is an unusually good looking specimen?
