I really don't have as many garters as some of you, but I cannot go more than 4 weeks without getting a shed or three.

very creative! that glass vial looks like the glass vials we store serum and/or some viral samples in?

I get the glass vials from work. Most of the dog and cat vaccines come with labels designed to be peeled off and stuck to the records. That done, they usually just chuck them in the trash. I save them and when we have a client that just euthanized their dog or cat, I offer to save a lock of hair for them. Some think its a sweet idea, some think its morbid. I just have to feel out the situation. So making jewelry out of them was just the next step.

We get a lot of vials after just one day. Baby garter sheds fit perfect into these vials!
