Found a clump of amber jellybeans in my triple het radix enclosure today.

She had been locking up with 2 males continuously for weeks, oh well....:(

At least on the bright side, I have another Infernalis on the way next week.

It seems to me that there have been alot more high profile bummer posts than last year. Comments?

I was not around here much last year... so I can't really say.

That's what people said last year, too. And the year before that. I'm not convinced that this year is special.

I tend to agree with Stefan. Seems about the same.

Hey at least I don't have dead baby snakes like last year.

Hi Wayne, do you have a clue what went wrong? No hibernation or heating from underneath teh cage?

Kind regards, Steven Bol (from Holland)

Since these are a project I am working on, the cage with her in it has heat, a basking light, etc.

Jellybeans are unfertilized eggs, and she only passed 3.

The optimist in me wants to believe there may still be fertile ones inside her.

Well if it was only 3 I wouldn't be surprised if she still had more healthy ones to come. Maybe these 3 had started to form to early to be fertilized during the mating.

Yeah, I wouldn't say that just 3 jellies is necessarily the end of it. It is definitely possible for there to still be viable sperm to fertilize another ovulation, or fertilized eggs still inside.
