Hello!

Maybe some of you have already had red albino/christmas iowa plains and can help me please.
I got some babys by breeding a snow female to a male double het red albino/anerythristic which has a really nice red colour.
Some of the albinos become more and more orange/red now and others have totaly no red. I know that these red (erythristic) is a co-dominant mutation.
I thought that the red colour will first appear after 6 months or later?
And is there a chance that they really will turn into these glowing red albino plains or do they have not enough red for this at present and they will stay orange/low red?
These are my first red albino babys so i have no idea how they look like after birth :)

Best wishes,
Manuel

looks like both animals have traces of red, its hard to predict how theyre gonna turn out but the earlier they show color the better

sometimes the red takes a couple months to come out. my orange nebraska albino is getting more orange by the month!

That is an amazing morph. Supposedly, my Amy carries the genes to produce those, but I'm not holding my breath. I sure wish they could be produced in greater numbers, as in, I wish they were as common as the regular Iowa albinos. That would be awesome.

The one in the top pic is definitely looking promising.

He was very plain, and the colour changed more red with age.
