Hello everybody!

I've really enjoyed all of the great information I´ve been able to find on this forum!
I read a lot here and this is now my first threat :-)
I´m a veterinary medicine student from Germany and work for 10 years with different garter species and colour mutations.
Here are some pics of some of my snakes :)

Best wishes,
Manuel

Thank you!:)

Does anyone know why my pictures do not appear directly in the post?

Best wishes,
Manuel

That's actually the first picture of a snow garter that didn't make me gag at the sight of it. It's even better to hear that it's a radix! Very beautiful snakes you got there.

Your pictures aren't showing up because (on the last two pics at least) you're copying and pasting the address in the address bar as opposed to just pasting the direct img link that photobucket provides for you after you have uploaded and saved the picture :)

Love the look of the albino checkereds. I am also quite fond of greenish radixes. A while back, Steve showed a pic of one that was green with very rich gold stripes and well, it was just fantastic looking. I believe he said something to the effect that there was "almost too much going on" with the color of the snake. I'd like to find that pic again. Steve?

Thanks steve, but no. That thread ^^^ came a while after you posted pics of a beautiful green radix. I mean, it was more extremely "busy" with the colors than that one. I mentioned I liked the green radix background color because you had posted a pic much earlier of a gorgeous green and gold radix. Might try to go back a bit farther to winter time. I can't be sure of the time frame but it was earlier than Pinch's post. Snake was much prettier too, not that there's anything wrong with Pinch. Still love the green base color.

Not sure what you are talking about but I'll look into it and see what I can find.
