Not the best pic, but can anyone tell if "she's" male or female?

We could really do with seeing the "back end" before an educated guess could be taken. Can you photograph the vent (cloacal) region?

The three inches (8cm) in front and behind the vent are the most important for determining sex. Even though it looks long and skinny like a male, it could just be a skinny female. The picture of its cloacal region is most important, but if you can measure it and it ends up being over about 25-26", it's probably a female... just another clue.

That's what we thought when we actually got a picture of it haha. So now he's a male, I'm pretty sure of it anyway. After researching sites and seeing the differences, plus the pictures on here. So now he's a male with the name "Pinky" hehe ;)

I'll offer a second opinion just to show that we have a concensus. It's a male, but there's no way I could have said anything with confidence from the first shot.

Rick

P.S. That's a perfect picture from which to determine its sex.

Male.

You can always call him "Mr. Pink". ;)

Thanks. My husband took it. I'm surprised myself that he got a good shot (haha---I'm erm, kidding!).

But I think "Mr. Pink" will be perfect! haha Thank God it's a he too cuz we're just entering spring here, and he had found her erm, I mean him, lol, a week ago. I wasn't sure if she'd have babies or not (or him, you get the idea).

But male it is. And Mr. Pink he will be! ;)

lol

I told my oldest son, who is 7. That "Pinky" is actually a boy. Then told him that his new name is "Mr. Pink". He just looked at me and was like "uh no mom. His name is "Bitey" again. Because boys don't like pink" haha. Originally he had named him Bitey. So I dunno if we're going back to that, or if he'll allow Mr. Pink to stay lol ;)

Thanks for the imput! :) We're pretty convinced it's a male hehe.

Just so you know, Mr. Pink was Steve Buscemi's character's name in the movie Reservoir Dogs. :)
