I found a young Garter by a tractor on the farm i work at. I took it home and set it up in a ten gallon,( moving it to my 20 gallon long just need to by a screen top) with some bark chips, a water dish, a log to bask on and hide under, and some leaf litter. After doing research i still had some questions.

What do you feed baby to young garters? I have been trying with earthworms
I am used to frogs so do i have to mist a snakes tank or does the water dish provide the necessary moisture?
Which type of uvb bulb to buy? was looking at these two

4. How often do you supplement food, and how often do you feed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are great care sheets listed on here. They answer all the questions you've asked.

:D I knew someone with better linking skills would offer it up- I just wanted to seem helpful. Like the guy that asks if you need help right after you moved the couch up 3 flights of stairs.

Welcome to the forum. Your young snake might take a few days or weeks to adjust. If it seems reluctant to eat the earthworms, try cutting them up.
