A freshly shed ('bout 10 seconds before I took the picture) high red parietalis male ('09). The red is gently increasing towards the belly. Hard to see in the pictures though.

Very nice pictures, that red-sided is hot, really lacks any black or gray on the head and lower sides towards the belly, clean looking.

Definitely awesome garters and awesome photos. I caught and released an ordinoides today. He looked uncannily like that puget. It was different.
