Just the other day I was handling a male ordinoides that was quite unruly. I was trying to get an underside photograph and my handling (and restraining) got a bit rough. Not enough to hurt the thing, but pretty rough and firm. I was grabbing is tail and out came the tips of the hemepenes and even a few drops of sperm!
