I have a group of dark phase radixes that were born 2 weeks ago. Since their birth, I've been trying something different with them. Instead of hands-on, daily interaction this is what I've done.
They go into a standard enclosure with all the same amenities as any other group but no hand feeding. I put a dish full of dirt and worms in for them. Every couple of days I replenish the worm supply. They are of course very skittish but all are eating and looking great. No non-eaters in the group. I know it's early in this little experiment but so far they seem to be doing very well.
