Terrestris Photos

I took my female Coast Garter out for some photos today. I didn't get a chance to do the male but picture a much smaller version of the female with a bit more red and you've got him! This girl has a really neat personality. At first she hid all the time and was extremely reluctant to eat, but suddenly she came out of her shell. She's warmed up to me quickly and does really cute things when it's feeding time, like gaping her mouth open while sitting still, and looking up at my tongs expectantly! I'm really excited to have these and hopefully she will go into shed soon and they will breed this year!

and for fun, here's Sledge in deep shed, he's just like a kid. Every time I try to take a picture of him he does something goofy like this. I know it's on purpose!
