This little lady was born on the Ranch.
She is one of Charlotte's daughters.
She bred for the first time the other day with a great looking dark phase.
After the two separated I found her in this pose.
Afterglow?

Not to steal your thunder, but check out this ordinoides I found yesterday. He's trying to look like your radix! He's at the top of the pic, against the glass. Probably making "radix faces" in the mirror. :p

wow! From that photo I would ID that snake as elegans vagrans! He looks like just like one from that angle.. haha!
Nice snake Steve!

Yeah I know, I mentioned that in other threads. Some ordinoides look like little radixes or elegans vagrans. Good eye! I thought the same thing, but this one is for sure an ordinoides. I've even found them once or twice and you could swear they were checkereds, with perfect squares meeting at the corners, but they were just ordinoides. That's why I was saying they are underappreciated. There's always one or two out of a hundred or more that just stand out and are quite attractive. I'm pretty fond of that one pictured. I like the pattern and head markings.

Ooops. Didn't mean to derail this thread. Feel free to cut me off.
And yes Steve, your new mamma snake looks very content. She's even smiling!
