I just stepped outside of work last night at 8:30 and heard spring peepers for the very first time! YES! The snow is gone the crocus are up and my daffodils have sprouted. I can't wait to mow the lawn for the first time!

(Yes, I'm crazy.)

Yesterday it was in the 60's. Today in the low 30's and 2-3 inches of snow.
Typical Iowa Spring time weather.

Our snow has been gone for about 2 weeks. Every night when I get out of work im engulfed by the chorus of BILLIONS of frogs. Thats what we get for being surrounded by swamps and rivers. :)

On a slightly depressing note, there has been a long series of controlled brush fires in my area for the last week and a half. I hope the snakes are sleeping in this year.
