Night Crawler Offer

To forum members, I would like to make the following offer.
500 large Night Crawlers delivered to your door(U.S. only, sorry out of my control) for $40.00 total.
They cost me $35.59. I do not have the cash flow to order for you, then wait for payment. So, payment has to be made first. I do have a paypal account but then I need to pay a fee to paypal. I would like money orders(best) or personal checks(will have to clear before I ship).
This is $40.00 cheaper than anywhere on the Internet. The only drawback is it won't be a fast process until I have them shipped. If I order on Mon, Tues, they will be at your door by Thurs or Fri. I have ordered them on a Mon. and had them at my door Wednesday. Just send me a PM to let me know what you want to do.
They come shipped in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice. I have a business account with the worm company and buy them at cost. This is the same company that sells to Walmart. I've never received bad products from this company.
I hope to save you money on your feed bill.

Yes, that's the company. Considering the number of snakes I have I go through a case of them every month. I'll be glad when I can catch the free ones from the backyard. I have to admit, $35 for 500 is worth it. Bending over to catch 500 is hard on my back.:(

Sometimes from Oct - April it rains enough that they come out to avoid drowning. Imagine hundreds of them all over the sidewalks. Really big one's too. Happens at least once a year around here. I really need to get a worm box going and "seed" it when that happens.

when I need nightcrawlers I wait until a still, warm summer night, and a few hrs before dark I spray the yard down with the hose. Then around 11PM I go out and there are so many nightcrawlers I don't know what to do with them!!! but i would never have the patience to catch 500 of them!!!

I have lots of leaves in the fall. Most of the time I just pile them on the side of the house and after a few years of doing this, I can find some monster night crawlers in there. I don't really give them as a staple food anyway but they come in handy as treats for adults and when chopped up and sprinkled with calcium, make good food for neonates and subadults/small ordinoides. I can pretty much find enough of them when I need them.

I don't see why not. Just dig anywhere in the desert when the sun is baking the ground. Make sure it's on a nice hot day. :rolleyes:

Desert !!! hehehe. I live in middle east but we do not have any desert in Lebanon, it is the only country in middle east with no desert... and it is not hot here as you think... The maximum we get here (in coastal cities) is 35C (95F) and that is really hot days. In fact, it is so cold outside now I guess it is something in one digit Celsius.

I never tried that... I looked in some bait shops but none of them got night crawlers. They had a lot of Swedish (I guess) worms with a xillion tiny legs!!!! but no night crawlers :(

Anyway, it is too cold to go and look for worms at this time of the year. I guess I will keep feeding fish till further notice ;)

Lebanon is a good touristic country. It might be one of the very few places (especially in spring) that you can ski before noon and swim in the afternoon (not more than 30 min. between both).
Maybe one day it will be your vacation destination :)

hehehehe that is a nice idea. The problem is not if they will let you enter the country or not, it is going into the plane with more than 500 snakes :D

Just imagine the reaction of the airport security Personnel when they see you coming in with this amount of snakes. hahahaha I think in five minutes you will be the only one in the airport and everybody will run away. I can see the people running and jumping on each other just to find a way out of the airport :D
