I know that this is not a holiday celebrated around the world but giving thanks is universal. I hope everyone has a great day.
I'm thankful for many things and one is this forum and the friends I have acquired. Your knowledge has given me the ability to give my snakes a better life. Thank you.

I would also like to pass on Steve's sentiments. Happy Thanksgiving to all of our forum family members! I just finished preparing the thanksgiving feast for all of my legless friends and we are off to my in-laws for ours. It's cool here and was a great morning to gather the "feast" for my snakes.

Hope all of you stay safe this holiday and enjoy!

Me be drinkin' Guinness now. An "American" Thanksgiving tradition. :p

At least, it is in my house. Can't afford it, or honey baked ham and prime rib but once or twice a year! Screw turkey. Yuk.

(Guinness: In the U.S. we're talking $15 for 8 X 14.9oz! yikes!) And don't even get me started on what the ham and prime rib costs. Ouch! I've been saying "thanks" all year to pay for this stuff!

LoL. That story just made my day. EEEKKKK!!! Lovin' it.
that EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK got me and checker the evil family look and a one way trip to my room "do not pass go do not collect $200 go straight up stairs"
but i stayed longer than i had to caus checker seemed scaredand i wanted to calm him down.....then as mom wanted to show my aunt and her daughter (my cousin) somthing my aunt says
is the snake in the tank yet?
nope almost
my cousin shouts A SNAKE WHERE I WANNA SEE IT! it took her a while but she started to get less nervous and touched him.

Robert,

I have learned that the "surprise" tactic is not necessarily the best approach when dealing with live subjects on either side of the event:eek:
