new to the forum, and just got a snake a while ago =P
my first snake =3
so i was curious how to tell females and males apart...
also i'm kinda worried about the fact that i dont remember him shedding even once... how often do they shed?

Welcome aboard.

You can tell the sex by the shape of the tail and the adult size of the animals. We have several threads on sexing garters.

How often hey shed, depends on their growth rate and the amount of wear and tear they're subjected to.
