It's been raining here today. Tonight I decided to go collect some of the last worms and slugs for the year. As I got to the back patio door I saw something on the bottom of the glass. It was this little radix. It's 42 degrees and raining. Headed for freezing by morning. This little female must have heard about our off-season rates at the Ranch. I brought her in and warmed her up. She was hungry and ate a small nightcrawler. I've never seen any radixes out in this cold of weather. Crazy little scrub. I would have felt bad had she died at my door step.
