Whether it's the beginning middle or end of the birthing season or one of those dead of Winter births. It sure feels good when you can take one of these new subborn little scrubs and get them eating. Just a moment ago one of my last holdouts took down 3 baby nightcrawlers. No more skin and bones. Now, this little one has a chance at life. I am just as excited for this little one as all the others that have crossed my path. My kids come a running when Dad starts shouting about a little scrub who started to eat.
The scrub is now resting with a full belly. The last huddle will be to see if the digestive track is working properly. Then it's full steam ahead for this radix.
