I would definitely have come home with a couple of T. e. scotti.... even if I had to sell a kidney to afford them!:D

Nice vids, Greg-I especially loved seeing those Nerodia rhombifers on the table! It's rather ironic that there's so little love for our own native Water Snakes here in the States. The only ones I typically see at shows are in large Tupperware tubs underneath the vendor tables, out of sight unless someone asks, "hey, dude, you got anything cheap I can feed to my Cobra?" That's how I got my hypo female Banded-she was destined to be a King Cobra's dinner. When I had a table at the recent Repticon Charlotte(NC)show with my babies, people thought I was nuts. I don't see many Garters at shows, either, and since Scott Feltzer hasn't had a table at a show in the Carolinas in three-four years, certainly I have not seen anyone who specializes in these at a US show. It's sorta sad that these two genuses of snake, both native to the US, are treated like the Rodney Dangerfields of the herp world over here, but at least they're appreciated SOMEWHERE.

Great save on the Hypo banded. They are great snakes and people don't know what they are missing. Same thing goes for Garters. No respect.

Thanks for the video Greg! While I was watching, one of my daughters asked if people actually went to herp shows. Guess I won't ask if she wants to go if I ever get a chance to attend a herp show.

Fine video's Greg.
I did not see you at my stand with only Thamnophis. You could have filmed the first Dutch cb Thamnophis fulvus. A missed chance! In this way you never become a Hitchcock... ;)
But you sat next to me in the restaurant. I did not know who you were and nobody introduced me  Maybe next year...
I placed the links to the videos at my gartersnakeforum.

Ooops  Definately next year ;). The garter coffee meet did turn into a bit of a Dutch corner vs Udo, Sjoerd and myself jumping between English and German. ;) Will make sure we get introduced next time.
