hello,

just a quick question to see what people think?

ive had my common garter for about 8 months now and this past feeding is the first that he has refused which is quite upsetting as im not used to it to be honest!

just wanted to see wat people thought?

he seems happy still, and has always ate even wen going into shed so unsure if thats wat is hapnin now cus he usually doesnt refuse cus of shed.

we usually held fuzzies with tongs, but they broke and used hands, perhaps he sensed us off the fuzzie and as he is very placid, he didnt bit wen he sensed us ? ?

any help or answers will be appreciated

thank you

It's probably nothing to worry about. One missed meal doesn't mean anything.

It could be the hand he's confused by, so using tongs or chopsticks might be the solution.

They can go for a long time without food. Many of mine will go off food for weeks at a time. If a shed is coming on, that could explain it. Seasonal change sometimes puts them off food, also. Many times they will eat well and reach a point when they just go off food due to the good feedings before.
Stefan advice is on the mark. Relax and don't worry about missing one meal.
