Red striped baby Garter snake?

Ok, as most of you know I caught a garter snake last summer and it had babies and i'm not sure who or what the father is but a few have red stripes and a red/brownish stripe down the middle.

I am sure that the mom is a Common Garter snake but i'm not sure what the babies are.

They are all babies to let you know and I think they might be part Northwestern or part Eastern. Hmm:confused:

I see the second photo and that's a nice looking little scrub. Have they started eating yet? That one looks like it has a full belly.

Yeah... they are all eating fine, just have to rub some worm scent on the pinkies and slugs. The one in the picture isn't picky at all, he'll probably eat anything edible for him! lol

Do you know if he is part northwestern? he has a red stripe and the mother is a common garter.

NIce looking baby do you have more pictures???WHat is interresting on your garter is the sharp cut vertebral strippe wich is nice !Look dark on back ground,will be very dark as adult with this strippe ...
THe mom was red or any aint of orange???

Sorry, Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis (Red-sided Garter Snake):D
They are a great Garter snake. I got my first this year and fell in love with them. Had my first group of babies from a rescued female. They eat like pigs and grow like weeds.

I may have been wrong. I miss read your post. She's probably a T.sirtalis(Common Garter Snake) as you said. I looked at the face and thought T.s.p, sorry.
