Last night I was checking on one of my baby groups. This is a blended family put together out of convenience. I was running out of space for all the newborns so I put a group of radixes and T.s.p(red-sided) together.
When I removed the hide I found the radixes on one side and the T.s.p. on the other. This is the first time I've observed this behavior. Both groups were born within a week of each other and have been getting along just fine. I found this very interesting and wondered if anyone has seen something like this before.
They definitely keep me watching and guessing.:)

Hmmm, not really...
My mixed groups truly mix up.

Could it be a heat gradient that caused them to split up?

No. The heat is the same under the hide. Good thought.
