Actually, you've already met her, but she's looking better than ever in her freshly shed shiny skin and thick, chubby coils! I have named my florida erythristic Blossom because that is exactly what she has done, she has blossomed from an extremely shy, scared snake that was incredibly reluctant to feed and slightly thin into a very outgoing, constantly hungry, flaming red beauty. She grew into that oversized head and shows off her colors better than ever now. She is also slightly gravid and I am not sure whether whatever's in there will come out as jellybeans or baby snakes... we will see! Palpating reveals 6 or 7 distince bumps in her belly. And of course, a big thanks to Scott Felzer for providing me with the opportunity to work with this snake!!

And here she is with Bluela, my normal florida blue eastern!

oh my gosh I made it a point in my head to mention him in this thread and I still forgot!!!

*doh*

Don is sending out his non-erythristic erythristic un-blue florida blue male. whew. that's a mouthful! Basically, he's a male FL blue that is descendant of an erythristic fl blue like mine but he just didn't color up. haha! She's a nice size Don, I can easily see her pushing out 30 babies if she has a good year!

haha, me too! I doubt it though, from the looks of her she is still a youngin' and Bluela too! Imagine what she may be capable of when she is full grown! We all know how huge those florida easterns get! The first time I saw a fully grown florida eastern my jaw dropped. They just don't get that big here in PA. Especially from the potter county and arrowhead lake regions. My hypo is still small for adult eastern standards but I strongly attribute that to her locality. They are all small there!
