since it is possable to morph manny snakes like patterns on a ball python is it possable to morph the checkers on a checkered garter?...mine have a cross like pattern for 1st third of body (after blotches)

not sure....but am working on that kind of thing with wanderings....got some odd pattern holdbacks from this year....will be seeing what I can get to pop out!

You worded this kinda funny but what you mean is are there morphs of garters but morphs are genetic mutations which means in order to see if your snake is a morph is to breed it and if the off spring carry on the gene than yes it is morph but even if they don't than it could still be recessive which means you would have to breed the babies back to the parent that you think is a morph.
