Last month I was not sure about the meaning of the theme.
The only translation that I´d found was very close to hiding
and while I was wondering if this could be eligible:

the contest was closed and the poll started.
This month the theme is easy to translate and I´ll try to be back with a good shot

Sorry, I had to remove your entry. Caption contest entries need to be based on the photo contest entries.

That's a difficult one... I don' thave any picture like that. Just a question, is such a picture also ok:

The mouth is open, but with something in it :D

Petruga, I love yours! What a great shot and such a funny look on the snake's face :)

once again I can't decide what to go for in my entry to the contest
my options are goofy, wicked, interesting, and funny - any votes?

now I need to follow up on Hans' question (technicalities)
some of these are going to be taken right after the snake has eaten, so is it part of the rules that all traces of food have gone down the gullet, or merely that the food not obstruct the open mouth part?

Does it have to be a garter or are other types of snakes okay?

it has to be a thamnophis - garter or ribbon

but hey - what about my question
I was being serious

Okay, Rhea, let's say that what's left must not be held in place by the jaws.

that seems clear enough
thanks, Stefan

Do what I do: use the "THIS JUST IN!!!!!! (http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/garter-snake-lounge/5500-just.html)" thread to post any silly pics that don't fit in the month's caption contest.

Don't forget to vote, people.

Have all your friends here allready voted for your photo?
Maybe we should start a little campain....
If each participant recruits three more votes, we may get the biggest
constituency ever;)
Its hard to believe that we had 88 views to the poll but only 15 votes (until now)

Great idea! I love this aspect of our forum. It adds a little levity and creativity to the garter snake world. We have many talented people here, don't we?
