I caught two of my eastern garters making some serpent-love yesterday.:eek: :)

If it was successful (which I'm not sure about), will the babies be born this fall or in the spring?

Pregnancy lasts about 100 days, right? How much can this time vary?

Is there any special care I should give her? Are there any vitamin powders or something I should put in her food? Does she need a warmer temperature?

This is my first time breeding, and I'm sooo excited.:D When and how will I be able to tell for sure that she is pregnant? Should I weigh her every week to see if her weight increases? How long until I will be able to notice change?

Pregnancy lasts about 100 days, right? How much can this time vary?
A lot. Roughly 90-120 days. However, some sources say as little as 60-something days and my own snake gave birth 73 days after mating. Others here have reported pregnancies far longer than 120 days. If it decides to store the sperm, it can do it for years.

I wouldn't do a weight every week. That just adds to the stress on the mom. You will see her gaining weight. She should start eating more if it's going to be a birth this year.

Stefan advice on how long it will take is right on.

If she's getting supps. than continue with that and make her diet as varied as you can. Variety is a good think.

I know that there are studies about temp. and the male/female birth ratio but I can't remember how it works or where I read the study.. I'll try to find it.
