They are all eating like little piggies! I ended up keeping 14, the kinked baby didn't make it though. I love them all, they are so cute and almost what I'd call social, for a snake. I'm used to keeping Boids which hide all day. These little guys come out of hiding when I open their tub (for food, of course, but shhhhh).
Anyway, I just thought I'd post new pictures of the little hogs! They haven't shed yet and as soon as they do, I'll separate them and give them names. I hate naming babies and then losing them. It always gets me too attached.
They are all so different. Five of them are holding the Blue/Green and two have developed really bright orange on their sides. There are also two that are pink tinged. I can't wait for them to shed, I'm hoping they hold some of those colors.
Here they are! Thanks for looking!

Thank you so much!
I have around 40 Boids and 25 or so Colubrids. As far as boids I have a Green Tree Python (Jayapura), Emerald Tree Boa, Carpet Python Cross, Hog Island Boa, Lots of Amazon Tree Boas, and even more Ball Pythons.

Named or not, you're attached.
The babies possess even more power over us.
Their magic works quicker and the addiction is deeper.
It's a good thing though.:D

You are so very correct. It's hard to admit, but you are. I cried all night after I found Kinky dead. I've raised many litters/clutches, it never gets easier to lose one.
The attachment is great, I smile every I walk over to check on them. All 13 little heads pop up and some even slither towards the lip of the tub (for food), but I can lie to myself and say it's just because they are happy to see me. :)

They are a whole 14 days old today. They should be up for shedding here pretty soon. :)

You go ahead and lie to yourself. I believe it's not a complete lie. Just my personal opinion plus some of mine have told me it's more than just food.:D

Nah, the Hog Island is my little buddy and the Carpet Python is super chill as well. The arboreals stay out in the open all day, but they aren't what I'd call social. :D Unless you consider trying to kill someone social.
That being said, the Ball Pythons are hides with scales and blubber sticking out. :)

I know! There are two of them like that that I kept and they glow a sort of pink color. It's going to be really awesome watching them all grow into their adult colors. :)

It's only a wonderful thing if you aren't already addicted to Arboreal Boids and Ball Pythons. I have around 15 Arboreals and I'm not even sure how many Ball Pythons I have at this point. I'd say I have my Thamnophis addiction off to a pretty good start with 13 of the little boogers. :D

One of the few reasons I love garter snake is because of their color variation inner a litter and you never know what the baby will look like and how they will turn as adult.JUst like amazone tree boa ,you never know what to expect .
Those with the large strippe should be selected for breeding as adult they will be amazing .What IM looking for is sharp cut strippe or wide vertebral strippe. This pink will probably turn rusty color with age, need few shed to see what happen.

I just love that each & everyone of them has their own personality. My newborns, I'm starting to tell apart, either by markings or by attitude. I could watch them forever!
