The numbers of babies are great here at the Ranch. This little female is one of Speckles and from an older group(born 3/29/09). While feeding that group she really caught my eye. I pulled her out and took her out in the sunlight. She's amazing. It looks like she's been sprayed and polished. What I don't understand is the brown in her. Where did that come from? She has a very calm attitude. She has something about her that makes her stand out and it's not just her looks. If she grows as big as her mother and keeps this shine, she will be a knockout. Come'on baby grow!:)

Thank you for your comments. I am fortunate to be surrounded by these beautiful snakes. It seem everyday I'm finding more reason to love them. How many more ways are these radixes going to surprize me. I hope thousands.

Sorry Shannon,
I couldn't send her to you and expect you to have to put up with her grossness. She'll stay here on the Ranch and only go out after dark and of course wear a hood.:D At least she go out trick-or-treating.:D

She is very special.
I love the way two natural phase radixes can make such a beautiful little scrub.
She'll be staying on the Ranch.

Real nice Tami.
My little radix read your post and now she thinks she's fat.
She stormed off to her enclosure and slammed the door behind her.
She's been crying all night and refused to eat dinner.:D

Oh GREAT!
Remember... I don't have any girls here... I'm surrounded by 3 manly humans, 3 boy dogs, and 4 of 5 male snakes... I forget the drama that ensues with feminine creatures :)
Of course, the shiny little princess is not fat... she's just growing up into a big girl so nicely, that's all :)

now there's an idea
we'll start a retirement community for garter geeks
I've been trying to talk Jeff into moving to Pennsylvania, specifically down the road from my vet (who got his property for a bargain because it is snake "infested"), but I understand the T Radix ranch has a good vet also
