View Full Version : Breeding T. fulvus
Thamnophis
07-05-2009, 02:06 PM
On june 26, 2009 one of the females of my Thamnophis fulvus gave birth to 12 perfect young. They weighed 2 à 3 gram, there were no dead young and no slugs.
According to Steven Bol this are the first young of this species born in the Netherlands.
On the pictures you can see why they were formerly described as a subspecies of Thamnophis cyrtopsis.

they're beautiful
I've always thought they look a bit like vagrans, but now I can see the resemblance to cyrtopsis
