We may have busted away from the British back in the day, but they can have San Francisco Garters, and alas- we cannot. I think we got the short end of the stick.

Wait a minute...Sanfrancisco Garter's are disappearing from the U.S. at the same time; There seem to be plenty appearing in Europe!
It's a conspiracy!!!! You guys are stealing our garters!!!

Just kidding...:) Keep breeding those pretty snakes! It's nice to know that someone can keep and appreciate them.

There was a time, not so long ago, when they weren't available to the UK/European hobby either. Who knows? Maybe one day rules will change.

Those photos are beautiful. Cold-blooded, but beautiful.:D Take it whichever way you want.:D

I'm going outside and count my wild radixes. Now, where's that calculator with the extra digits.:p

Okay, I'm still jealous and No, I don't feel any better for what I typed. It's just not fair.

Does anyone know if we can import out of country born dream snakes? Maybe, that's away around this whole Federal Law thing.

Yes, we are desperate over here.

;) there's always a combination of paint and T.s.sirtalis :p

You too can have tetrataenia for a complete shed cycle :D

We need those san fran garters to get into zoos IMO, or maybe some sort of program to get them back into the wild.

Is there a brand of paint you would recommend:D

What a nice surprise to see that great picture of Greg in this thread about tetraenia.

Tami - in total denial about any snakes which may appear with Greg or elsewhere in this thread... I'm not looking...

The most I got out of independence day was stolen flags out of my yard, and someone broke into my garage and stole my gravid female mouse! D*mn kids...

Wow- I just put that to vent, and then the whole thread gets saturated in pics- those are all awesome.

drache

they are red, white, and blue - just like the french flag. oops - wrong kind of blue
I don't understand why infernalis aren't just fine to you folk who love those unreal looking snakes
I mean stripes, bars, stars - what's the difference? isn't it in principle the colours you're into?
of course there is always that added attraction of something one cannot have . . .

prattypus
07-05-2009, 06:19 PM
E, it's not the stripes, it's the fact that I want what I can't have.

Stefan-A

Most developed countries could make them, if necessary.

drache
07-06-2009, 03:24 PM
precisely
I've never seen the point of making something that can wipe out huge amounts of garter snakes and other life forms all at once
frankly - simple household bleach is lethal enough in my book
