Thought I would start a thread of photos of my snakes...

This is an updated photo of the newest snake, the Iowa albino radix female

Still working on finding a name for her.

Now I will have to get busy and take new pictures of my other snakes.

Just received the trio of atratus I ordered from Scott. The females were being shy. I took other photos, but this is the only one that turned out ok. I'll let them settle in some and then try for some more photos.

Sad news, Penny (my puget female) died yesterday. Not sure what happened.

I'm very sorry to hear the news. Anytime is a bad time to lose one but this time of the year is the worst. The one thing that helps me the most in these situations is the memories we have of them. It's been a years since the passing of Animal(large female radix) and the kids and I still talk about her and all the great times we had. I hope you have many fond memories.:)

Thankfully, I do have fond memories of her. But I'm still sad right now.

That's very sad news. These things happen at times and we don't always see it coming. But I hope that I have plenty of baby pugets this year so that I can help you out! :)

I have a boy named Amy that would love to meet mango! I mean, she's perfect for him. He's ready. He was supposed to be a female waiting on a younger male. Well, now I'm stuck with big hearty male and no females. Very sad about that. Anyway, here he is: (actually quite a bit bigger now, growing fast)

http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/4852/dscn0643medium.jpg

If nothing else, maybe I can let you borrow him and get something out of the mating? (he's het for nebraska AND has siblings that are xmas albinos and nebraskas) Boy is hung bigtime too!

Sorry, I have other plans for Mango. Nothing personal, but the Nebraska albinos don't really do anything for me. I'd rather not introduce that gene. Thanks for the offer, though. Amy is a good looking snake.

And I'm not changing the name! too late for that! Johnny Cash has "a boy named Sue" I have a boy garter snake named "Amy" I'm over it.

Bottom line is, I love the snake. He's awesome, even if it does throw a wrench in my breeding plans, I'm still very happy to have him. By far the most beautiful and most colorful personality snake that I own.

Not at all offended that Leanne doesn't want to borrow him. I'm sure I'll find a use for his "studliness" soon enough. This boy is ready and hung like a horse!

I think it's sweet. I've come to love seeing "Amy " in the posts.
