The IRCF is a member-based organization that actively pursues the conservation of reptiles and amphibians and the natural habitat and ecosystems that support them in a variety of capacities depending on the project or program. IRCF support may include funding, mobilization of volunteers, and/or logisitcal assistance.
- International Reptile Conservation Foundation (http://www.ircf.org)
Check out the latest changes to the International Reptile Conservation Foundation website. I encourage everyone to become a member to the IRCF. Not only are you helping out a great cause, you get a quarterly issue of the IRCF journal REPTILES & AMPHIBIANS, Conservation and Natural History (http://www.ircf.org/about/ircf-membership/). I cannot say enough about the last issue, from front to back filled with beautiful photography and wonderful articles.
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Sandy Binns from the IRCF and work with her on a technical level. Great foundation and a great group of people. Don't forget HerpHut Store will donate 5% of orders over $200.00 to the IRCF.
More details about IRCF:
The principal aim of the IRCF is to support conservation and research programs that contribute to the survival of threatened reptiles and amphibians and their habitats.
The IRCF works in concert with the scientific community, educators, and professional conservation organizations as a part of the total conservation solution.

As a component of our support services, the IRCF communications team develops, hosts, and maintains a variety of websites, promoting conservation programs, building international awareness, and campaigning for funds and other support.
The IRCF is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible in the USA. Further, the Foundation serves as a conduit and facilitates donations and grants to programs which themselves are unable to offer U.S. tax deductions. IRCF support is applied where it is most effective and operates under a policy of accountability to its donors.
