Here is today only 5 months later:

Blows my mind how much they've grown in a short time. Not fat & lethergic but very active and muscular feeling. I'm certainly sold on it.

I've used both Trout and Salmon. They eat both with equal gusto, the only difference I notice is that the salmon has a much stronger smell.

Haha funny you say that. I was getting a little scared they were growing too fast and cut down on the jell-o and also every few feedings will provide worms.
Thanks for the kind words

Ok my little guys are just picky I guess... They love their pinkies and like live fish, but turn their noses up at every other thing that has been suggested as food for them....

The wild type resisted at first too. I mixed some in with his worms and two feedings later he was eating just fish Jell-o.

I wish... mine even turned their noses to worms.... I have been looking at mainly only pinkies.. .every now and then they will take live goldfish, but that is it as of yet... they will not take salmon or tilapia either.
Stubborn little guys... but they did just demolish nine pinkies between the two of them.

Hey good to hear at least they're eating. Gives you a buffer to work with when trying to switch. Not that it's any less frustrating
