I went out for a short herpin trip with my kids...Claire doesn't show up in any of the photos, she was the photographer for the trip...hence some of the off the wall nature shots.....

it was a lot of fun...but too short. the other spot we went to still had snow!!!! will be going up again ang taking more photos!!!

What kind of snakes do you find in your area?

wanderings....lots of wanderings. we have valley garters, but they are harder to find...found around slow streams and ponds where frogs are. down in the southern part of the state we have western blacknecks....
