my orange eaastern popped today....3 nice healthy babies, 3 slugs, 3 dead, 2 alive, but way deformed..one had a kink in his neck and had to be put down, the other is not kinked as bad, might make it, but will never breed. I will get some pics up later.

well drat....down to one male orange left...the bottom pic in the last post...he died a couple days ago.... the other male still hasn't eaten....hasn't lost weight yet either...tomorrow will be an experiment to get the little buggar eating!!! he hasn't touched guppies, salmon pieces, tilapia, salmon jello, or worms.... gonna puree some salmon, add water and vitamin powder.... I picked up a couple IV catheters from our vet today....will tube feed him....less stress than shoving a guppy in his mouth... that should get him going!!

forgot to add.... I will be making up a small amount of this salmon puree....but don't want to freeze a big hunk of this stuff whin I need a .1 cc to feed...so, I found some ice cube trays we have, small rounded cubes, hold about 1 cc of water.....will freeze a bunch in these little chunks and save in a container later after frozen (so the wife can have the tray back....)
