Scaly hide are a local Perth exotics shop. I have nothing but good things to say about them and I thought I'd share some images from todays promotional event. I donated some of my time and my garters and it was a fantastic day filled with snakes, lizards and a tarantula.

Ahhh.. thank you.... I really probably should not ask the names of teh reptiles that catch my interest, because I really do not have any more room for any more,,,, but I really would not mind expanding my reptilian family :)

no problem - really
Cali kings are just about the easiest snakes to take care of, and they're not pricey
they do definitely need to be housed singly, as they are highly cannibalistic, but they're generally pleasant to handle

The response from the public was great :) we even had some 'old dears' in the tent who where totally amazed by the animals ... I spent some of my time handing out some garter care sheets to anyone that was interested ... fingers crossed that some may be in touch :)
