Our girl Charlott gave birth this morning. 8 jellies and 6 stillborns. This is a first for me, to lose them all.
Charlott's last group were all healthy and we had 0 problems. Not a good Mothers Day for her.
It's a sad day at the T.radix Ranch. The silver lining is all the beautiful healthy babies that have been born this spring.

Not sure what happened. She was bred to a male who was also bred to Speckle. Her babies were perfect. My breeding for the year should be done.
Unless my sexing skills aren't skills at all.:eek:

awwwe sorry to hear it steve, at least you've got plenty of other lil scrubs!

haha, it's not so bad if you accidentally put a female in a male enclosure... but if you accidentally get a male in with all those females.... oh boy you are in TROUBLE! haha!

I went down and checked on Charlott when I got home this afternoon. I found 1 live baby crawling around the enclosure. A beautiful little boy. I guess it wasn't a total loss after all. Maybe there will be more:):)

I went down and checked on Charlott when I got home this afternoon. I found 1 live baby crawling around the enclosure. A beautiful little boy. I guess it wasn't a total loss after all. Maybe there will be more:):)
