So, did you get tagged. She doesn't look happy at all. Is that a standard attitude? or did you catch her at on a bad day.

well hey, that's what the snow easterns are! They are schuett albino x melanistic... amelanistic melanistics!!! but then again that strain looks like a T positive strain it's awfully dark... so it's not an amel but a t positive albino melanistic... kind of like milk chocolate....which makes it a sort-of-but-not-really-melanistic???? I give up if I ever get one I shall name it oxymoron

Yes and yes.The silver is my Fav also. He's a real pain in the a#$!I have a hard time calling the albino melanistic a snow. It's a pretty crappy looking snake.Other than the head. But, You can make some cool stuff with it.
On a side note I did something really friggin stupid today.I lost one of my male pugets under the stump in those pics today.I put it on the stump.I turned on the camera and it found a hole in a blink of an eye and went down it.I dug up half the yard around the stump. No luck.I have the whole thing covered with a tarp secured with dirt.I doubt anything can get out.I just hope it does'nt find a tunnel out.

Oh no! I hope you get him back! That is what terrifies me about taking outdoor photos, I'm afraid I will lose one of the snakes.

I have another one.I want to get it back because it is almost certainly doomed.I live in a populated area.If my killer cat does,nt get it the cars will!

awwwe so sorry to hear your lost one of your guys... that's awful!! I am sooo careful with mine outside for that reason!!!

I will say that I agree.. I honestly think that the albino melanistic is the ugliest garter snake morph I've ever seen. NO OFFENSE TOM!!!! (you are right the head is kind of cool though). And it is good to have genetics-wise!!!
