Alright, so that eastern who got her tail nicked had been a recovery tank for a while, but she didn't look very happy about it. She ate a worm today, and that was it. So I moved her into the tank with my other female and 07' male... And boy, did my little dude jump on her!

when two snakes copulate it is often referred to as "locking up"

mainly because they literally are locked together, the male's hemipene swells and basically becomes stuck in place until mating is finished.

I like watching them mate - guess I'm a voyeur?
I don't feel that way about dogs so much
but those slugs from "Life in the Undergrowth" - those I could watch for a while too
