Woot Woot!!! I found a snake den!!

i'd suspected that it was here..... but had never come looking at the right time.... well it's definitely here!!!!

the total count after 3 trips was 4 males and one baby..... and a bunch more that i couldn't catch....

release them tomorrow.... i had caught a female the other day and i was going to release her today but then i discovered this so i figured why not just give them what they want then release them all down there together...:) that way i hopefully boost my local population too:)

I don't know if that's going to help them in any way. It's best to just leave them alone.

Very nice find and great photos too!!!, glad you will be leaving them were you found them. Looks like a nice little pond in the background for them to go fishing and frogging.

yup i went back down there again today.... right before i released them i got these pics....... they were everywhere! i went down at 8 so they were all out and about.... i saw at least 5

Yea nice find Shanley.

I am starting to find these T. ordinoides coming out here too. There is a stack of cinder block on this property just down from me and I was wondering if it contained a den.

I’ll have to look a bit more closely.
