Wait a minute, It may just be a sub-red sided.

Then I could be wrong... but I lean towards maybe even a Puget-Red Sided NW. It would be more clear if the pic showed the belly. I live in Oregon, an the Pugets here are more like the red without the red so to speak. This snake is basically just blue lines.

My Red Sided's look so much meaner than this snake, and have white/blue/black heads which are much larger.

I must say the picture is a lovely looking snake... Just Puget??? I dunno maybe...

I stand corrected... looking more carefully... Puget! I thought I saw a tint of red in an enlargement... that is probably flash flare.

It is my Pugets that have a red sub! Wierd looking too... but nice!

Yes, the snake pictured is a pickeringii.
