oh my! i think sooty's gravid!!!!!

someone please tell me i'm nuts?!! i've noticed that she's been completely byzerk come feeding time........ and i've kind of been ignoring her weight.... she seemes to be getting fatter.... well last time i fed her i really noticed her weight..... and modt of it's on the back end..... she was stretched out sunning and i just realized that she's just as fat as she was when she had her babies last time.... i just checked her weight........ 94 grams!!!!!!!:eek::eek: she was 68 last time i checked!!!!! omg is there any way this is possible? could she have retained sperm from last time she was mated with? even though she had babies last year? she was a little on the upper normal side when she was 68 grams........ what do i do!!!!???????:eek::eek::eek::eek:

idk now.... i just weighed willow and she's 92 also.... they're the same length.... but sooty just looks soooo fat!!!????? idk i'll post pics asap

Ok now you all are scaring me... we caught Mrs. Wiggles wild approx 24 mths ago. Just recently she has grown immensely, very quickly! She has not gained a ton of length but she has become very very fat! She did just shed, but even when I look at pics from a couple of weeks preshed to ones I took today 1 week after shed, she seems even fatter and has only eaten one hopper mouse. Is there a way other than takeing her to a vet to tell if she is gravid? Something to look for perhaps? Does their attitude change when Gravid? Diet? Any ideas anyone...personally myself and the boys would think it was cool, my husband would probably have a stroke, if he came home from the Rigs to find many little wiggles. Man I would not even know how to care for them.

Sometimes you can feel the egg chain as they move through your fingers. I took one of my females in and had an x-ray done to confirm her being gravid. $37.50 for the x-ray. Not cheap.

lol nope not this year lol i felt like she should have a break lol:p one a year's good enough for me:) and with meadow gravid already.... i'm hoping and preparing for more babies than i've ever had before;)
