Sad News

[TheBeansprout]

My little Beansprout passed away last week. He was almost 4 years old and was the runt of his brothers and sisters. He got injured somehow when he was a baby and had a 'crook' in his back. But he was a good little trooper. This is a picture of him a week before he passed.

I really miss the little guy.

Thanks everyone. It means alot. It's strange because most people I know, when I told them The Beansprout had passed, they said sorry, but couldn't understand the attachment one could have to a snake. But each of mine is special and has his/her own little personality. I'm sure I'm not the only who feels that way.

I completely understand how you're feeling. People don't seem to look at them as "proper" pets. I guess, I do feel a little different about the cats, as they constantly interact with us, but I also see the unique characters our snakes have. Losing one is so sad.
