I will be helping out with a California native Reptile and Amphibian display at Bass Pro Shops in Manteca Ca. saturday, feb. 21, from noon until 4 p.m.
We will be located in one of the isles from what I am told, and should have at least 60 different types of California native Reptiles and Amphibians on display in small display tanks.
We wont be giving an actual presentation/speach, but will be answering questions as they look at the animals- which should keep us busy enough, with the 4000 people expected on a normal saturday afternoon in this store.
I am supplying just a handful of the critters, including my Checkered garter and my red Northwestern Garter. Most of the rest of them will be supplied by my friend, a local school teacher, who keeps a great collection.
Here is a link for the store for anyone who wants to see where its at.
