A few weeks ago I was given a baby Radix by a friend. The little one had been found in his basement. When I first saw her I could tell she had been without food and water for some time. You know, little folds of skin running the length of the body. I've found this very difficult for these little ones to recover from. I gave this one a 10% chance of making it. My first task was to get her re-hydrated. I put her in a shallow bowl of luke warm water. This allowed her to get a drink and warm herself.
Today, Little Toni, as I call her ate some worm pieces. Yesterday, she refused guppies and I thought her time was short. It looks like this little scrub is going to make it. Now, it off to the races to get some weight put back on. "Life is good"
