Two days ago it was 60 degrees. Today, we're getting 6-8 inches of the white stuff. Typical Iowa weather. My 1 ton van never has a problem with the snow. Ice is a different story. This is my herping van. I can hold 15 passengers and a whole lot more Radixs. Hauled a 40lb snapping turtle to the lake, once. Glad it stayed in the back.

That white stuff is pretty... glad I don't see it on a regular basis, though :)

James,

Nothing get by you:D
It's paid for and has 318,000 miles on it. Fix the rust or feed the kids(Radix included)????.......
Feed the kids.
With the amount of salt used on our roads it's not worth it. I'm hoping for 1/2 a million miles before I replace it. The old beast has to make our Canada trip and the meeting in July. *Fingers crossed*

Kevin,

My kids and I are going to the Narcisse Dens. North of Manitoba. Going the end of April or begining of May. Have to get there before June 1st when a passport is manditory. Can't come soon enough for me. Not sure where were going to sleep but we can always sleep in our big van.
Here's a couple links to some reading and photos.

I'd need an extra large pair of boxer shorts for that visit.

No officer, there's nothing stuffed in my pants but me......

I always squirm like that while under interrogation.

Snake heaven on earth. Lots of photos will be taken along with lots of video.

Wayne,
Do you think they'd believe this one: "No, really officer. I'm guessing they crawled into my carera bag when I set it on the ground, really"

Kevin,
But would they believe it and not throw me in the Gray Bar Hotel. 5 camera bags full or snakes might be a little too much.

I have no need for those. 20 minutes north of my home we have a large population. Much shorter and safer drive.
