You're not too late, Aundrea! It's still my birthday for a few hours!:D
Thanks to all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes.
It was a good day. My husband gave me a really mushy card, the kids bought a present all by themselves and surprised me, and to top it off, I brought Deejay and a couple of the baby snakes to the school for a little "reptile lesson".
The Grades 6 & 8 classes had a ball! Even those who were a little scared of snakes ventured over to pet my laid-back ol' Deejay. She's just such an attention hog! A couple of the grade 8 girls kidnapped my babies and took them on a tour of the school. It was lots of fun, and I hope to be able to do things like that more often.:)
