Today, Feb 7th 2009 here in Iowa as a rule should be frozen and well below freezing. This day it was 55 degree. It was great for getting our girl "Lucky"(Radix) out for some exercise and fresh air. These kind of days don't happen very often, so I thought I would share a few photos from our little adventure.

Same here.
What a great day!
Nice photos, Steve and I know what you mean about the weather. It's been in the teens here lately, but today it's currently 68 degrees F.

Great pics Steve. The weather has been gorgeous here today, too. Took a nice long walk along a creek with the dog earlier :)

I was almost 70 here today! I'm loving it. I didn't take any snakes out but did put the turtles outside all day, and the little buggers went right to mating!!! LOL Spent most of the day outside with the critters. Gorgeous day. :-)

It was like, 80 something the other day here. Lol! And it's been holding 65-80 this past month. Ah TX. It will probably ice and hail tomorrow. ;)

Yeppers, Denver has been very pleasant as well, but I know that means a blizzard in the middle of May!

Steve, you are so brave! Lucky must be one cooperative little girl! James and Ernestine would have been headed for the "homeland" (Florida, little blues that they are) if I let them loose like that!
Great pics and I'm glad you had a great day!

Hey but I am wishing it was cold here! I am having a H*LL of a time brumating my pugets and bairds. I am hoping it won't be a complete failure. Changing ice packs out every couple hours for two months really sucks. ;)

Stephi,
None of my kids were home at the time. No distractions!

Your snakey looks pretty happy with her outing, Steve!:)
We have a couple of really nice days in the forecast this week. About 14C(60F) tomorrow and Wednesday. If the sun shines, I may just take a couple out for a stroll as well.
