well a few weeks back i treated my 3 snakes (1.1 ball pythons and 1.0 garter) for mites, well now it looks like the female ball has mites again  but the other 2 turnd up clean from what i can see but i still treated all of them. its been a terrible 2 weeks for me and now i had to spend a good part of the day cleaning tanks and treating snakes.
i think im going to place an oerder in for some PAM, i keep hearing good stuff about this, anyone know a place to get it cheap?

I was wondering when folks started spraying snakes with cooking spray, but with all the home brew mite answers, one could easily get confused.

Wait, Maybe the cooking spray PAM is a good idea. Then the mites wouldn't be able to stick to the snakes:D It could make holding your snakes a little problematic:eek:
Sorry to here about your returning trouble.

well there is the vegetable oil method, and it does work, but requires a bunch more effort

i have reptile relief that works great, i think my problem is the tank. the female BP was clean for about 2 weeks but i guess i didnt get the eggs all outof the tank, PAM is suposed to keep working for a month from what ive been reading so im gunna give that a shot next.

When my Puget had mites, I soaked the tank in bleach for a day, never saw mites again after that.
That method would not work on cages made from wood.

i did that for the male ball pythion but hes only in a 20 gallon long, was easy to move the tank for soaking/cleaning, the female is in a 40 gallon that i cannot move safely by myself. gotta get one of my buddies to give me a hand sometime this week, id hate to try moving the tank myself and busting it or putting a crack in the side

whatever you use, good luck! I hope you get rid of them for good!
George had 2 mites on him, I used the diluted water/bleach, never saw them on him again . Never saw them in his cage either.
